DIY-RE - Do
it Yourself Rotary Engine, is the brain child of Lance Warren,
an avid rotary enthusiast of over 20 years and author and owner of the
popular website www.3rotor.com.
Lance has wanted to build his own engines for many years now and with
the help of long time friend Paul Morgan, it was decided to produce a
step by step guide on how to build a rotary engine from scratch.
A purpose built engine room was constructed and filming of the first
title in the series was completed in November 2004. Editing took
a further 3 months with a 4 disc set produced for DIY-RE 13B.
Our goal is to film and produce a number of titles including the build
of the Mazda 20B (3rotor) and 26B (4rotor) engines. We are also
planning on producing a DVD for porting and tuning.
We believe that our DVD's will fill the gap that has existed in the
rotary world for many years and will return the power back to the real
enthusiasts.
There is no greater satisfaction than driving your car knowing that
you have completely built your own engine, and that it has been built
to the highest standard giving you more reliability and power.
